Subject: Sally Maier Button Auction

On behalf of Polk Box Button Club, thank you for offering to send this out to the members of all of the Buckeye button club groups.

Long time button collector and curator of the Shelby Museum of History, Sally Maier, age 95, of 76 Raymond Avenue, Shelby, died unexpectedly in January 2024. Sally had been a member of the ABC Button Study Group for many years as well as a button club in Florida where she had a winter home. The entirety of Sally’s 50,000+ button collection is now up for public auction available through online bidding at this link

Shipping will be available for those unable to make it to the pick-up day at her house on June 24, 2024. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to own some very rare and special buttons that Sally had collected over the last 50 years.

Editor note: You can search on this auction site to find button entries. They indicate the items start at #700 but there are a few trays before that. Look for search on the site. Also note the general auction requires local pickup in Shelby, North of Mansfield OH; but it also looks (elsewhere) like shipping is available on small items. Buckeye Button Society receives no commission nor proceeds; and not responsible for any aspect of this Auction.
